Industry

Research and Development

ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) project, which is applied on each region of UTC, Carrier's parent group, is also applied in Alarko Carrier Gebze complex. Joint projects with Universities and TÜBİTAK are being handled in the Testing and R&D Center in order to ensure continuous development of the products being produced in the Manufacturing Facilities. Moreover, significant improvements on the products are made with the technology transfers from Carrier. Alarko Carrier’s R&D Center application for benefiting from incentives and exemptions provided as per the provisions of “Law on the Promotion of Research and Development Operations” no. 5746, issued on the Official Journal dated March 12th, 2008, has been examined by the “Assessment and Auditing Commission” established as per the provisions of Article 14 of the "Regulation for the Assessment and Auditing for the Promotion of Research and Development Operations" issued in Official Journal no. 26953 dated 31/07/2008 as per the aforementioned Law and approved in the 27/04/2012 meeting of the commission and it was rendered appropriate that Alarko Carrier would receive a “R&D Center Certificate.”

Production

Gebze Main Production Plant: Alarko Carrier Gebze Plant is a modern plant established in a 60,000 m² area in Gebze Organized Industrial Zone consisting of 20,000 m² closed manufacturing area, 2,000 m² offices, 2,000 m² testing and R&D building and social and training facilities. This manufacturing plant produces air handling units, roof-top air conditioners, heating and cooling batteries in central air conditioning field; conventional and condensing combi units, diesel oil, heavy oil and gas burners in heating field; submersible pumps and motors, circulation pumps and air pressure tanks in water pressurization field. ACE (Achieving Competitive Excellence) quality management system, which is applied on each region of UTC, Carrier's parent group, is applied in the production facilities. Eskişehir Production Plant: Alarko Carrier Eskişehir Manufacturing Plant is located in Eskişehir Organized Industrial Zone, on a land of 24,000 m². It is a modern complex consisting of 13,000 m² indoor production area, 1,000 m² office space and 1,000 m² auxiliary units. The plant manufactures condensing combi boilers and condensing boilers. Soon, the production of Heat Pumps and circulation pumps will also begin. It is an environment-friendly facility equipped with a solar energy system capable of generating 700,000 kWh of electricity, and a high-tech recycling system that enables the reuse of 8,000 m³ of water, per year. The production facility is certified for ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and ISO 27001 Information Security Management System. In addition, Carrier Excellence system principles are applied in all business processes, ensuring the development and continuity of processes and continuous improvement of their effectiveness and efficiency.

Product Marketing and Sales

Product Marketing and Sales: Product sales covers supplementary products that we procure from the companies that we cooperate with such as steel and sectional cast iron boilers, split type air conditioners, air handling apparatus, boilers, expansion tanks, cooling assemblies, fancoil devices, automatic control devices, duct equipment, humidifiers, chilling room devices, operating room air conditioners, garage ventilation fans, radiator valves, thermostatic valves and heat cost allocators besides the products produced by Alarko. Alarko Carrier offers products of Carrier, a global trade mark, in Turkish market including all air conditioning models in individual, commercial and industrial fields in a complete range. After Alarko Carrier partnership, share of Carrier products in Turkish market is increasing day by day. Program for extending Carrier products all over Turkey is being implemented in stages. Likewise, works needed for all authorized services to provide service for Carrier products are ongoing. Offices and Authorized Dealers: Alarko Carrier's marketing and sales operations directed to individual and commercial uses are performed by the Product Sales Units in the İstanbul, Ankara, İzmir, Adana and Antalya offices covering Turkey as a whole geographically under the coordination of General Management Center and about 300 Authorized dealers who can also provide projects and technical applications throughout the country. Natural gas products are sold and installed by authorized dealers with expertise and experience in their field. Domestic Fairs: Alarko Carrier attends industrial, regional and local fairs both domestic and industrial in order to advertise its products.

Leading the industry in terms of energy efficiency with its high-tech environment-friendly products; more than 50 years of experience and know-how in cooling, heating, air conditioning, and building automation systems; an extensive team of experts, Alarko Carrier is one of the first firms to be certified for Energy Efficiency Consulting in Turkey.

Building Automation Systems – CARRIER - ALC: Common Building Automation Systems only focus on energy consumption. Alarko Carrier’s Building Automation Systems, in turn, make it possible to assess the comfort levels of the dwellers, alongside the conventional indicator of energy consumption. Measurability is an important prerequisite of any green building. Supporting almost all popular communications systems, the Building Automation Systems enable communication with and control of any technological device. Alarko Carrier utilizes the automation products of Automated Logic, which is part of the United Technologies Group. For instance, the highest building in Europe, The Shard, is controlled by Automated Logic products. Yet another building in the list of highest structures in Europe, Imperia Tower, not to mention Azerbaijan’s highest building, Socar Tower, are but two of the more than 300 projects Alarko Carrier carried out in cooperation with Automated Logic.

Export

All dealer products bearing Alarko brand, including but not limited to submersible pumps and motors, circulation pumps, boilers and condensing combi boilers manufactured at Alarko Carrier’s Main Production Plant and Heating Products Manufacturing Plant, are marketed overseas as well. The Exports Business Development and Channel Management Departments within the framework of the Dealership Sales structure engage in effective promotions. The products are exported to many countries including the US, Chile, Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, China, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Pakistan.
