The new facility with an area of 675 thousand m² is twice as big as London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. Concourse 4 will be connected to Terminal 1 to facilitate “check-in” and luggage service procedures.

The facility also includes a special hotel floor with a capacity of 170 four star rooms and 32 five star rooms.
High capacity and efficiency Carrier 39HQ air handling units manufactured at Alarko Gebze Plant were selected for the ventilation and air conditioning project that will provide interior comfort at Concourse 4 of Dubai International Airport, the airport of the future. The sum of the order consisting of a total of 144 air handling units is US$ 2,5 million. The first equipment delivery was made in August.
Following other prestigious projects such as the Moscow Kremlin Palace in Russia, the Nice Stadium in France, the Yacht Port in Monaco, with the opening of the facilities in Dubai International Airport, an important project in world standards, in 2014, Carrier 39HQ air handling units will operate and effectuate the basic contribution to provide perfect interior comfort in these outstanding premises.
